A modern multifunctional urban development project located in a strategic area between Riga’s historic city centre and the rapidly developing Skanste neighbourhood. SPORTA 2 quarter is being developed as an open and multifunctional urban environment where offices, creative industries, culture, gastronomy and public outdoor spaces interact in harmony. In SPORTA 2 quarter it is planned to build ~60,000 m2 of new commercial premises and apartments in several development phases investing more than 150 million euros there.
The office segment forms the business core of SPORTA 2 quarter and will be the dominant functional component of its first development phase, accounting for approximately 85% (~12,000 m2) of the total leasable area. The project will feature premium Class A office spaces - from modern corporate headquarters to dynamic coworking spaces designed to provide a productive, flexible and employee wellbeing-oriented working environment. The existing and planned retail, services and catering objects, parking amenities as well as high-quality public outdoor spaces will provide additional added value to the quarter, encouraging networking, collaboration and an enhanced urban experience.
Particular attention is being dedicated to sustainability and high-quality urban development throughout the project. SPORTA 2 quarter is being developed in accordance with BREEAM standards (targeted level – “Excellent”), integrating energy-efficient and environmentally friendly solutions to create a sustainable and future-oriented environment for generations to come.
Already today, SPORTA 2 quarter has become an active and creative urban district that continues to attract new businesses, initiatives and talent, strengthening its position as one of the most promising development projects in central Riga.
