Several public transportation routes go through or along the Skanste neighborhood making for easy access to any location. Trams No. 5 and 9 run along Ganību dambis; trolley-bus No. 3 goes from Sarkandaugava to the center and the stops for buses No. 2, 11, 24 and 49 are nearby.
