New Hanza
New Hanza
Right next to Riga’s historical centre and Skanste, a modern Riga neighbourhood, the new urban district of New Hanza is emerging. The territory boundaries of New Hanza are marked by Pulkveža Brieža, Hanzas, Skanstes, and Sporta Streets. On nearly 25 hectares of land, a network of streets has already been built, an old cargo railway station has been transformed into the Hanzas Perons, а multifunctional cultural venue, with the first of many New Hanza A-class office buildings emerging right alongside.
The following stage of construction includes building an office complex at 3 Mihaila Tāla Street with offices for rent and commercial premises for various daily services. Also it is planned to build a sports club and surface parking for more than 400 cars. The third stage of construction includes developing an office complex on Pulkveža Brieža Street, where there will be two buildings of 16 000 m2 constructed.
